Thanks, Giving Week
I absolutely love tattoing lady heads, and this one was a blast to do. I started an instagram account quite a few weeks back, but I believe I failed to mention it on this blog. Find me and follow. I post quite frequently, as my photos all come from the camera phone. I also finished this koi-dragon halfsleeve. This was done in 3 sessions. Gabe is a beast, and would sit very well each time. Thanks for looking.

Tigress
Working Trip

I went to Charleston, SC a couple weeks ago to tattoo at Holy City Tattoo. Good shop, if you are in the area, get some tattoos from these guys. Beautiful city, friendly people, great trip. I got to do some fun tattoos while there. Nate drove all the way from Philadelphia to get a vulture tattooed on his forearm. I am not a photographer, so this is what you get to see. I also tattooed an old high school friend Tim. He is very Irish. He bleeds whiskey. He got a Pooka in horse form.
I also tattooed a good friend, Mike, with a skull hat lady. Mike and I apprenticed together in Augusta, GA 8 years ago. Here they are, I had a lot of fun with these.
Also, a painting I did for Mr. Jason Eisenberg as a gift for hosting me.

Enter the Turkey....

So San Francisco has been strange this past month. The Giants won the world series, and throughout that process, the shop was a bit slower than usual. I only did one Halloween tattoo, but it was fun.
It was also the first Halloween that my son could actually understand and appreciate it, so it was nice to get to relive the excitement through him. It was always my favorite holiday.
My buddy JD moved back to The City, and we started this hairy lady on him. I think it turned out well, and got to mess around with a few new tricks, courtesy of Chris Conn's seminar I took a couple weeks ago at the State of Grace convention. Chris was at the shop the other day and so I was fortunate enough to be able to show him it in person to hear his opinion about it. Thanks JD. Always a pleasure.
.....and lastly, here is the sheet of flash I am sending in for the Read Street Flash Trade 2010. I hope whoever gets it likes it.
